Research over the past half-century have resulted in several products of high current interest. Under the assessment category, the brain motor control assessment (BMCA) protocol is receiving a great deal of attention as the need for objective, precise assessment of motor control after spinal cord injury and other upper motor neuron disorders come into focus with the creation of interventions to ameliorate those limitations.
More recently researchers have explored transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation for its diagnostic potential, as well as possible intervention application.
